ANGELOLOGY WEEKLY ASSIGNMENT QUESTIONS

The following questions are similar to those which might be asked of you by a church layman. You are free to use your class notes, and any other texts you might find helpful in constructing your answer. The purpose of the questions is to enable you to interact with and synthesize the material that has been covered in class.  You should answer each question in 2-3 pages.

  1. I understand you just completed a course at the church on angels. Tell me, what does the Bible say angels are like? Do they really have wings? What are they doing today?

  1. Our pastor preached on Isaiah 14 last week and denied that it had anything to do with the fall of Satan. He also said the same thing about Ezekiel 28. What do you think? What are the most important things about Satan that believers should be aware of?

  1. I’ve always heard that the occult is an example of demonic influence today, is that true? The reason I’m asking is because my sister has gotten involved in séances and astrology and I need to know what to tell her. By the way, while we are on the subject, could you tell me if it’s possible for a true believer to be demon-possessed?
